They ALL have the option to 'Report this answer' when they are first posted. If a question gets reported by other AB users then the AB editorial team look at it and may decide to reinstate the post in the same or different section. The REINSTATED post will no longer offer the option to 'Report this answer' on any of the answers reinstated. However, I have observed that if subsequent answers are added to the post, then those new ones WILL offer the option.

And you can't report your own answers
gen2 you are wrong. The questions posted by the so called biddies have no report buttons .Before they post a question they contact the editor who then switches off the report this question button this is wrong they should take their chances like the rest of the answerbank community! Level playing field and all that.
The excuse that robinia uses that too many questions were posted on chatterbank, is invalid! Chaterbank no longer exists! So why have we got a private 500 answer chat room on suggestions?

kita 1 did you post an answer on the this thread?

Some Answerbankers are more equal than others? Not just, not good miss ED!
Can the esteemed Editor afford to give unusual dispensation to 5-8 answerbankers! I think not. If you think all the questions classed as chat that are reported never to see the light of day again! An uneasy feeling descends over the Anwerbank. My dog lifts his leg the streetlight flickers wind blows, owl hoots, tumbleweed rolls by.

Biddy posts can be reported like any other, just the threads as a whole that can't be, and that's done on the basis of previous good behaviour, general nobility of purpose and all-round benefit to society. (And the threads aren't private.) I hope this helps to alleviate elfmay's burning sense of injustice.
Elfmay...How do you know that?

I'm a bit shocked....so if I contact the Ed and say I would like to have a little chat in B&S, would she do it for me?

Or, as per usual, will this answer will get removed!!!!!
I would like to say that the Ed does it for me. But alas no.
Can anyone (in their right mind) explain what "Biddy posts" are as I would quite like some of them for Christmas.
ummmm it's true, as jno has said "biddy threads as a whole that can't be reported," also read this thread ummmm. http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/AB-Suggestions/ Question174390-81.html
Im well behaved will the Ed turn the buttons off on my questions?

I am totally lost now!!

I just noticed that two answers I gave to a question in Animals & Nature had no boxes, yet everyone elses had the boxes.

No elfmay I did not post an answer on that thread, I usually confine my answers to Animals & Nature and Pets, no reason just that I have only come across this site in the last few months and am still finding my way around!

Did not realise there is a whole different world out there!!! Scary!!!

Did not know about 'biddies'!!

Maybe I am just lucky!
