Hi All are we all here for good now then? :o)
Hi Jude, yes, unless you wanna discuss lions and young men growing old and stuff, in which case you are advised to go back to Kenya.

Can I have an USB Christmas tree please Woofy they're so cute, and the lights to go with it!
I suppose if a tree was made of chocolate you wouldn't get the needles all over the floor, would you?

Just popping in en route to the early morning train to Paris. Tunisia was nice but cold out of the sun, or in the sea breezes. Paris will just be cold.
Hi jno still swanning about are you?? Eeuukk, I hate the smell of chocolate, and can only eat a very few (at a time!)
hello, neti, I am continuing to spend my retirement in as many places as possible. Maybe I will get to Ibiza someday. Actually I was there during the Summer of Love, but only for a day trip from Formentera, so that doesn't technically count.

Why does it say on the AB Suggs page that this thread has only 9 answers?
Don't you dare come to Ibiza without my shopping list completed!!!!

Here I is at last....
<oh poop.....(hides contents of string bag behind back)....no bran tub yet!!>

Here for good what exactly Jude?....I've been stood standing 10 minutes & no one's rushed forward with a glass of Blue Nun or a mince pie yet, tut....one of those serve yourself places is it? And I'm sorry but I don't do singalongs unless accompanied by Winifred Attwell on the ole peeee-anna.....

helloooo jnoooo....
.....oh, not staying.....?

*rushes forward with snaps and glgg*

...and backwards with the gammeldansk - 'cos I want that one for myself. Don't know how anyone manages to knock it back in the morning, though. I'm guessing it requires a whole lot of Danish cheese.

Hi jno, say hello to Paris for me. I still remember the crappy little hotel where I stayed when I was fifteen, it was on a crappy little street called Rue du Caire and the bed sloped so badly towards one side it felt as if the bed itself was trying to kick me out of it!
thanks Kit but right now I fancy a babycham, how very 70s...in fact I've been fancying a babycham for about a week, I must be going backwards for xmas.
Speaking of xmas, it's typically festive in here ......everyone's asleep, tut!
Oh well, spose I'll have to sing by myself. Hope there's no expensive glassware in here...
yo
Good afternoon.
ive done me lights but Ive had to cut back, what with all this credit crunch thing.yo (:O)Actually you can see them from outer space,i checked google earth...!I see phileas fogs back..hehe..! hope you had a nice time jno.
must go and clean another bloody carpet>>>later dudes>>(*_*)
Afternoon, biddies. You won't believe me but they seem to be digging my park up again, god knows what for, this time. It's the third time this year! Piping for the coffee kiosk was the first one, then some kind of soil-changing project which lasted for months. I think they must have probably left one of their mates down there and he's been calling them on his mobile ever since.

Tai chi "exam" tonight, teacher says there'll be a contest (he's only joking.) I think I'll take the same class again next semester, I need to be prompted to keep it up - partly because there's not enough room for me to do it at home without rearranging the furniture, which tends to make me put it off and off and off. We're starting early tonight so I'd better get a move on with some kind of supper here.

BTW I checked Google Earth for Vinny's Christmas lights but all I could see was this...?

..must have been quite a night >>>>>>>>>
Question Author
arternoon all...dogs signed off at vets so have treated them to a hamburger and huge long walk and just about finished christmas shopping (huge smug grin)
...since we're in the gutter with Vinny

Kit I sprayed coffee over the screen when I saw the snowman incognito...didn't realise you could do that...it takes a swedish inventive brain I guess.

Good afternoon Each been tai ching this morning and then went for lunch after. Had that many Christmas dinners lately I ended up with Cheese and Tom Pizza and peas and chips. Loverly!!. I had rice pud for afters and felt well pleased.
Got my tree up and all my prezzies wrapped. I learnt the other day that my son and his wife are coming to me for Christmas Day. So that will be nice. Just us 3. I think their move to the new house has taken it's toll and they still have loads of boxes to unpack they just felt they didn't want to be bothered cooking.
We had workmen turn up in our Close the other day Kit there were about 4 vehicles and ten men who proceeded to dig up part of the road and then re-tarmac it. I had to drive my car over the green to get out on to the road. I took them all day. I don't know now what it was all in aid of.

See yer later 'gater(s)!

I've still got a box dating back almost two years (returning from evacuation) to unpack, Jude... In my defense, it contains hundreds of photos and I haven't decided what to do with them so it's not sheer laziness. Anyway what I'm saying is that un-unpacked boxes do drain you of energy - lucky for your son and daughter-in-law you've got so much of it! Is it the tai chi?

...mine was lovely tonight again; as I was walking over there I noticed that one of the "Finland boats" as we call them (actually they're great big cruise ships) was anchored even closer to town than they usually are, and as we were doing tai chi in our huge, darkened room with an array of windows facing the water, the ship glided by outside, all lit up and pretty, so close you could have thrown a stone at it - almost. Breathtaking. Before we began one of my fellow students had been telling me about a trip to Machu Picchu she made many years ago. She said when they reached the city the mountain was veiled in a shroud of morning fog and as it disappeared a condor glided over the site - "enough to make you religious" she said... Anyway, first that story and then the ship...

...shall I really deconsecrate this evening by watching telly? Yes I think I will, there's a movie on that's supposedly good: Insider. Never seen it. Will now.

PS it's a screenshot Woofy.
Good morning Biddies - oh what a wet and rainy day, we've had it for several days now, and everywhere is sodden. The lane at the bottom of my house is now full of muddy hole filled with water, after the builders and electric company did a bit of work. Thank heavens for wellies, except they are out in my laundry room, sol will have to get wet getting them! The trials and tribulations of a Spanish housewife.

btw Robi I've been wanting a babycham for a while now, didn't realise that they are not in existence, until I asked for one in August.
Errr..... have we moved AGAIN!!!!
Question Author
don't think so...have been shampooing carpets this morning so no time to post
hello, just stopping by to say I think I've got the lurgy.....
Ah bless Robi stay in the warm, and get well soon.
