but my brothers place on the south coast is lovely -
Lake district
Wells
Matlock
Isle of Mann
Suffolk and Norfolk, Wells next the Sea, Blakeney point, Cambridge, walk along the banks of the Cam, really lovely
Cornwall for me. Been there a few times. Can't think of anywhere that I've been in the UK that was bad. I would love to go back to Belfast, Glasgow and Cardiff again for city breaks rather than for work which I did a few years ago.

Favourite childhood place was Bournemouth.
Snowdonia, also the downs of Kent south of Canterbury where I used to live was lushly beautiful countryside.
Cornwall too, spent many a happy time there, Mr Em and I spent 10 days driving/walking around Cornwall, we stayed in Lostwithiel the whole time as the B&B was perfect, but did see much of the county.

Belfast is nice , I loved it there, we stayed with friends who’s garden was on the Loch , lovely seeing the SeaCat go by whilst sitting in their garden
we have a lot of still unspoilt places to go. sadly i don't drive, and can't manage luggage so its stay at home or take a taxi to family on the coast. its hugely expensive but its only once or twice a year, when we are allowed of course.
IOW +IOM, Papa Westray, Stornaway, Lewis, I.of Skye, the orkneys(old man of hoy), York, Rhye, to name a few.
Question Author

Scotland - Edinburgh. Lovely place, I wanted to move here.
Northumberland is nice too.
its amazing how many places one has been to including York, Oxford, many places in Hertfordshire. and so on
I'd love to go and see Eilean Donan Castle. It looks stunningly picturesque.
The Yorkshire Dales.
Question Author
Love Giggleswick , adore the name Zac and Kettlwell where they have a scarecrow convention every year
also Yorkshire, forgot for a moment, we spent another 10 days driving.walking aand stayed in a beautiful place Osmotherley..
Osmotherley is the start of the Lyke-wake walk. A gruelling 43 miles to ravenscar on the coast. My left knee has never been the same.
