Good morning everyone. I have to go out shortly and it's been snowing!!!! It has stopped now, but it's icy cold today.

Son has gone off to collect yet another car!!! That makes three. All old and in the process of being renovated. What do you do with a chap that has so many hobbies that the house is full to the brim. Six guitars, two keyboards, loads of studio stuff (but some is elsewhere) numerous computers, and three years worth of domestic equipment from living away from home. Plus loads of tools and sporting equipment. I suppose I should be pleased - his hobbies have kept him out of ever being in any trouble!!!! He is contemplating VSO now. Great idea, I think - we'll have to see!

Dolly, I have to take so many tablets these days that I will shortly have to get one of those little pill thingies that old people have to stop them forgetting to take things, and also to stop them taking them twice. Came back with yet another lot from the Doctor's last week. I seemed to start falling apart when I reached 57! As the doctor said to me "all part of the ageing process" whilst he laughed out loud! I told him he would get there one day. I am just so pleased I have such a good relationship with my doctor, because generally I am terrified of anybody in the medical profession.

Meanwhile, I have found us BiddyBabes an ideal dress for the summer. Just let me know whether you want blue or pink and I'll get them ordered!

How's this for living in a very small town. Our local bank manager has just sent me a box of chocolates! He put right a mistake for me and asked if there was anything else I needed. I laughingly said chocolates would go down well. (They often put them out on their counter for customers!) A lovely box of Lindtt chocs has just been delivered with a little note from him saying he hadn't forgotton my request. Don't little things like this cheer us up...................
