Wouldn't it be a good idea to put all removed answers in one big separate folder so we can view them only and not be able to comment or reply to them? At least we could see what kind of comments are being censored.

No.
Yes, I'd love that, I miss a lot of them !
No but there are some answers removed that make no sense at all.

I used the word Botox in a post, the post was removed.
Botox wasn't aimed at another ABer it was aimed at an article.

The word Botox appears all over this site in fact it was invented by the editorial staff as a funny alternative to ***.
poking fun at the guardian, eh Talbot? tsk tsk. hanging offence that.
No, bad idea.

Not a good idea imo.
Your Answer...Yes to my shame it was a guardian article (is that why it was removed?)
That's an awful idea Dave50.
Very bad idea. Most answers are removed for good reason, they are aggressive towards members, bullying, swearing, spam etc. If these were allowed to stay albeit in another file it would have the effect of encouraging more of the same.

Just take a look at yahoo answers and the cesspit that has become as soon as censorship stopped.
@Ab Editor.. You have said..
"That's an awful idea Dave50."

Am I allowed to ask 'Why' ?

Hans.
The reason why Answers are removed is because they contravene Site Rules, and steer threads off course until they become untenable.

To have them all chewed over would simply exacerbate the reasons why they were removed in the first place - causing all kinds of fights, spats, nastiness and general horribleness which absolutely no-one needs.

You can rest assured that if an Answer has been removed, you are not missing anything, and likewise, you are not missing anything by being denied a chance to analyse them.
jj109's post prompted me to have a look at said site

//How stupid can you be. Do research because he is right. You probably a brainwashed idiot.//

lol - it looks like dog eat dog , on that site .

By the way , can you guess , who 'he is' in that comment ?
No not a good idea... 'Curiosity killed the cat' theirs so many puusy's on here ;-) they'd be non left. This is a family site though and do respect for other reasons that posts are removed... I have being guilty of posting sometimes an inappropriate answer and amazed that they stayed.

I think you will find the OPer suggested,

\\\so we can view them only and not be able to comment or reply to them\\\
We'd simply have a rush of threads in CB saying, oooh go and look at 'answers removed' topic and see what X said.

I seem to remember that in the 'old days' (before the site had moderators) one regular troll repeatedly accused another troublemaker of being an on-the-run paedophile, often using some extremely 'graphic' language in the process.

I find it interesting that Dave50 would apparently be happy to see, for example, several hundred posts alleging similar things about him archived on this site.
I probably wrote half of them...No.

Wouldn't surprise ^^^ ;o)
