How to earn income from internet?

I looking for legit way to earn some money from Internet. As a student, offline jobs are seem not a solution for me.

There are ways such as completing surveys online but you will earn very little indeed

why are offline jobs not for you? I don't get it. In order to earn the same amount of money, i would expect you would have to do many many more hours internet "work" than if you simply went out and got a job

Be wary of Factor 30's answer about doing surveys. I signed up to one of those websites and after about a week started receiving 10 or more unsolicited e-mails every day trying to sell me something. In the end had to delete my e-mail address and start another.

I wouldn't recommend it, pdq but I know some people who claim they do quite well out of it.
I agree about email addresses- I create disposable ones for things like this because you will get loads of spam.
I gave up on them apart from one survey (GfK I think) which comes every month, takes a few minutes, and I get a voucher for £2 or £5.

Can anyone remember 'doc' he had a job being a secret shopper and did quite well out of it, I believe, but I do not know how to go about doing it. Pity he is not here now.
