I wish it was here but it's not. Desperately needed on the south coast, well Brighton anyway. Mind you the sun is shining and it's beautiful, loads of people down on the front.
North Norfolk, had a very light shower and that was that. It didn't even make the roads wet. I have forgotten what rain looks like. The pond opposite has been dry since last summer - poor ducks!! and the drainage ditches around our house have nothing to drain any more.
So I hear prudie but I'll believe it when it happens. We are in a hollow here and it often passes us by, not sure how but it does. There was a bit of snow a couple of weeks ago and you could see it on the north side of the A27 but not the south side. But I live in hope.
Been lovely and sunny most of the day here in Leicestershire after quick showers this morning. Wish it would rain solidly (but only all through the night!) for the next few months, Rutland Water reservoir is very very low. Bet we get a hosepipe ban which will be a major inconvenience in the garden.....
Well thank goodness we've had some rain here for a change - not nearly enough though. It's stopped at the minute but I hope it starts again. Collected just enough rainwater in my little jug to give my poor scraggy cat a drink which she has lapped up - she hates tap and bottled water. Got windier and chillier as the day's gone on. End of weather report from B&H.
