I have reported to Editorial that the following should be examined.

http://www.theanswerb...rch.php?q1=simssoul1#

Perhaps I am being over suspicious about a person who has joined today and has given identical answers in a number of sections and on issues which appear to have been closed.

I suggest that ABers should add their comments to assist Editorial.

Que?
It is a bit strange - one of the threads I looked at was from August 2008.
there doesn't seem to be anything there, unless i haven't got glasses on
You have to go right to the top and look at the answer tab, it has (10) - click on that and it leads you to the answers that contain the same advert.
It seems that another moderator has already zapped the 'advertiser', even while I was still reading the posts. I must be getting slow in my old age! ;-)

BTW: Certain websites offer people commission, on a 'pay per click' basis, if they can get people to view their sites. That member was posting links to tripleclicks.com (which pays that type of commission) with his own reference number on the end of the link (in order to identify him for payment).
em10, do you have an 'ad blocker'? because I can't see anything either.
there was an ad on here few days ago, link simply said if you want to buy this **** then go to, then the webpage, thought it odd, as im sure you can't advertise on here.
Those who can't see anything should click where it says 'Answers (10)'. That shows the repeated identical links to the site I've mentioned above (although, if you actually view the threads, you'll see that the posts have been removed).
The advert was for a new series of Blankety Blank it seems
ahh I see now, I didn't realise they'd been zapped until the latter link.
not sure that was the one, but i did think it strange.

Thanks folk. This thread has proved interesting; particularly if one reads what has been said by Buenchico.

At last I feel I have done a good deed for AB.

It's strange, but I always have an element of suspicion about new members to AB., because I am aware that banned members can come back under a different Username. However, this is the first occasion that I have reported a new entrant, who was foolish enough to do what they did.

Perhaps the Ed will give me an award for at last having posted something sensible.:-)

Hi Ron,

A report would have done just fine. There was no need to add this to suggestions.

So... no prize I'm afraid.

Spare.

Hi Ed...Sorry if I overstirred things. Perhaps I need a new wooden spoon. Any chance of one as a consolation prize.:-)

Ron.
now now, Ron, he's probably worried you'd use it for stirring...
Question Author
jno...I think you are right.

Incidentally, it may not be true but I have heard that the Ed is considering a suggestion that, for the best non-stirrer during a twelvemonth period, a personal presentation of a 'love spoon'. ♥♥♥

I certainly must try harder.:-)
