I pick my new car up in next couple of weeks.
I spent ages dithering at showroom and in end settled on car, but just before i shook on the deal i said "oooh whats the number plate?"

the dealer asked if i was going to change my mind on car if it had the "wrong" letters. Apparently he had once lost out on a sale because the female buyer didnt want a plate that read XXL at the end.

I once had a car that ended HRT but apart from a bit of mickey taking by friends i had no problems having that reg.

anyone else had any good ones or would you not buy a car based on its plate?
