i am worred about a cat in the nabihood, has 2 skraches on her back and she hassent got a coller so i dont know if she has an oner but if she did then that person is'ont feeding her cat properly.

how can i help?

My cat has new battle scars every other day, and he only manages to keep a collar on for a week or so. Unless the cat looks underweight or unwell I really wouldnt worry about it. You could however always call the RSPCA

Ive been in a similar situation, i would just put a little bit of food on a plate and if he scoffs it down then he may not be getting fed properly, I have a cat who lives across the road but eats mostly at my house, but i know the owners and they do look after him properly, I would just keep an eye out to see if he loses weight.

You didn't say how long this cat had been wondering your neighbour hood, has it just turned up all of a sudden.  It may be lost some cats do wonder from their homes, toms are prone to it especially if they haven't been neutered, this is the mateing season and they fight with other tommy's for the queen. You could contact your local vet and see if anyone has lost a cat, the RSPCA are another you could contact.  Good luck in finding its owner, its really good that this cat has someone looking out for it.
