I put them in the recycling bin for the dustmen

If you scroll down a bit it tells you which cards can be recycled.
You could make your own gift labels out of them and recycle what’s left

That's exactly what I was going to suggest as that's what one of my nieces has done this year.
I do that too. I take them down and cut labels from them, rereading each one as I go. It’s a relaxing job on New Years Day. The labels get packed away with the decorations all ready for next year.
I save the best bits to reuse in next year's home made cards, the rest go in the recycling bin .
This is probably not of any interest to anyone but I just wanted to say my Mum (who died 25 yrs ago) Use to ask friends for their old cards and she would take the best ones and cut around the edges with those fancy scissors.
Then she would buy these little calendars that she would sellotape on the bottom then add a loop at the top made out of ribbon.
The following year she would sell them at the Church's bring and buy sales with the money going to the church.
Can't imagine folk doing that anymore.
That was a blue Peter thing one year, then we did them in Sunday school,
Was it a long time ago Rowan?
