There are three mallards sitting on my garden fence. How can a duck balance on a fence with webbed feet. They are sitting still, waiting for more seed to drop from the bird feeder.

They've gone now. I expect they will be back.

Two males and a female. They might be looking for a nesting place. We'll see.

I still don't understand how they can stand on a fence though.
