Tuesday. After lots of rain yesterday today is looking better.

Tiggy is getting stir crazy, he hasn't been out much, I'm sure he will today. He had a wee rootle about last night after his supper, but not for long.

I might get some more done in the garden today, everything indoors has been done, so it will be nice to get outside again.

Albs is hoping to join us today, I hope she makes it!

Hi, boaty. It feels like I've been up for ages. Some **** phoned at 4am - don't know who - and I haven't been able to get back to sleep.

It must be lovely having little Tiggy to watch over. I've got loads of rabbits in my garden but they scarper when I open the back door.

Yes, he's a grand wee lad. He's getting on now, about 80 in our years. He doesn't go out of the garden now. I'm hoping for a good summer, so that he can spend more time out in the fresh air.

I'm fine thanks, boaty. Could have done with a bit more sleep.
An easy day today though, just got to cook dinner for the one staff member working today who isn't on a diet.

You do a lot in the garden. I've wished for ages to have a garden, but now that I have one I'm too lazy to do anything except water my tomatoes and chillis. I've got loads of mint growing, somehow. Trying to get rosemary and thyme going.

I spend most of my time in the garden lazing! :o} I'm not a gardener, that was Vera's domain. Mine is the kitchen.
some of the garden has been left to nature, the butterflies and bees love it! It looks quite pretty actually!
Same with the front border by the fence, it's a riot of colour, all provided by nature, looks a mess in winter!

Boaty, I haven't seen a butterfly for years. We've got a wild bit at the end of our garden, but the butterflies don't seem attracted by it. Maybe too salty or sandy.

Could be too salty jo. I haven't seen as many the last few years, we used to have clouds of them, lots of bees too.

Not bad mate,we're getting a new oven and hob today and according to the tracker its due any time between 07.00 and 11.00 so I'm trying to get a few things done before the fitters arrive.

Very nice paddy. I would like a new cooker, but I couldn't really justify it, the one I have we bought in 2002, but it still works well.

Morning Birdies, wet and dull up here but at least the wind has dropped. It blew a gale yesterday just when I didn't need it. Will have to check the damage out later. My spuds and broad beans look to be in need of attention and the pots were flayer as well. Hey Ho.
