''I think we should all boycott Malta, as a holiday destination''

Tilly: can you honestly say you've never been on holiday to a country that doesn't have some form of 'animal cruelty' (for want of a better term) or a differing view of animal treatment to your own?
No, snags, in all honesty, I can't say that.
Thought not. Much as the majority of us, including myself. You may not agree with Malta's view on bird slaughter but suggesting a boycott is not going to stop them doing something that is (rightly or wrongly) ingrained in their culture.
I know that, snags and I know that I, as an individual, can do nothing about it. However, my own little protest is never to go there.
And you are perfectly entitled to that view. But where do you decide? Will you not be going to Canada because of their penchant for clubbing seal cubs for fur or Italy because of the Palio horse race? How can you boycott one country but not another?
''But where do you decide?''

^ that should 'but how do you decide where to go/not to go'?
the idea of going to Canada for the seal clubbing is interesting. Do they sell tickets?
Got to go now. I'll be back later. I'm off bird watching. I wonder if we'll see a turtle dove today?
A seal walks in to a club...
Naughty Snags!!

What about eating live oysters, cooking live mussels and lobsters? Isn't that just a cruel? Tasty...but cruel.
just put the gun down, Tilly, and step back from the table
