Simple Pleasures

Well two things have pleased me today (apart from the fact it is Friday).

Mr BM has finished my two way gate (when it opens one area, it shuts off another area), and stained it. It looks really good. I keep going out in the rain to open and close it. (Sad, I know).

Mr BM is going out in a mo so his music has gone off so I am sitting here listening to the blackbird singing his little head off.

What simple things have pleased you recently?

Seeing my little grandaughter this week for the 1st time since xmas.

Getting another half stone certificate at SW last night, Yes even us grown ups like shiny stickers,lol.

Making a fresh berry pavlova and my MIL thought I had bought it.

Putting my washing on the line and watching it blowing in the fresh air.

Babysitting my youngest grandson last night, and him produly announcing that he had done 'two poos', and the presenting his little bot to be wiped.

Reminded me of when his mum was that age .... but she grew up!

The temperature being warm enough to be able to at last sit in the conservatory with a cuppa and look down the garden. Its been too cold out there up until now.

Went to visit a nursery this week which looked promising. Also went to the vets to hand in my insurance claim form so should get some money back in a couple of weeks.

I had a major craving for frozen yoghurt last night and have just come home with some topped with granola, pistachios and coconut and it is deeeeeeelish! :)
