Bother, I missed it this year - next year Redman, could you remind us?
Thanks redman, interesting that the results for Hants show the blue tit as the most sighted, yet in my garden the great tit is definatly top of the list.

Also how on earth did folks spot Tawny Owls during the day? I can hear loads at the bottom of my garden at night, sometimes sounds like an orchestrer, but I never see them!!

The next one will probably be around the same time next Year boxtops !
Hope all the Birds have a successful breeding Season this Year.

Tawny Owls are hard to spot during the day Chaffinch as they are usually snuggled up against the trunk of a Tree and well camouflaged. I hear plenty at times during the night but have not seen one for quite a while.
Thanks Redman, I forgot to look at the results on RSPB site!
I'm in Hampshire and the results almost mirror mine except that I never see starlings in the garden and haven't seen a greenfinch in months. Sparrow population seems to have exploded here though
