..from Wingham Wildlife Park near us, they talking about it on the news now. I hope the person brings it back, it won't be happy without its crew, and it digs huge tunnels.

Made you speechless Boxtops. LOL
Poor little thing. Are they sure it was someone who took him or could it have been a bird of prey swooping down?
The nice part of me agrees that it would be a very cruel act and the person should be shot.

However - they are kinda cute and cuddly and they seemingly make good pets.

They are pretty sure it was stolen, the rumour is that a man was trying to sell one today in Canterbury.
If it digs huge tunnels, are they looking at a new cross-channel hole then. About time we had a direct road connection and then those long queues ot trucks in Kent may be reduced a bit.

I've been in some dodgy pubs, but never one so dodgy where I heard the phrase, "psst, wanna buy a Meerkat".
Meerkat? Yuk! Horrible little things, why would peole think they're cute?

We saw a group of them in a childrens zoo, they're not cute at all, thet look more like rats standing up and a lot smaller than portrayed on TV. Anyone else dislike em?

DT - on the TV the zoo speculated that the thief may have been influenced by the popularity of Alexandr....
Awww I love meerkats, they're so cute and small. If they were available as pets I'd definitely have one.
Heard last night on the news that they have found the Meerkat but unfortunately it had been run over by a car. This happened in Sandwich, Kent.

Poor thing, so sad.
