Should I take the dog for a brisk 5 mile walk or just go for the papers and laze about with the crosswords?

I'd do the dog walking thing but the lazing around sounds pretty good too. Tough choice. Walkies !!!

I looked outside. It's cold and dark still. Maybe later for the walkies.
Send the dog for the papers - job done!
how about walking the dog to the paper shop, and doing both jobs at once
Pick up the paper on the five mile walk, then spend the rest of the day lazing but feeling smug.
Take the dog for a shorter walk and still have time to laze about?
I shall exercise two greyhounds later. Enjoy the day.
No competition - let the dog run round the garden while you laze about.

I was in a similar quanrdy yesterday (without the dogs, just two cats for me who walk themselves :)), felt more than a little laxy after a big new year's eve.

Decided to brave it and went for a wander through the park to feed the ducks, geese and swans then into town for a coffee and people watching. Did me the world of good and felt much better for it.
