Nooooo - it has to be brown.
Red...
Neither-the bacon speaks for itself.

Though a tiny bit of Marmite is yummy.
But I'm a yank.....so I will be unconventional... ;-)
I don't like bacon unless it's in a sandwich with sauce.
yr totally right pastafreak, sauce on bacon!! why? if its good bacon then it doesnt need it. mind you i never tasted good bacon until i came to spain, its got tons more flavour here, whereas imo most bacon is quite tasteless in uk, hence the ketchup!!
A Rifle wielding butter fingered Genius is molly
Bacon is just too salty for me. I don't like it crisp because it's the texture of cardboard...
Not the bacon we've just had, ummm and piggy - our butcher buys from local farms, the meat is succulent and bacony and the rind crisps up beautifully.
The fatty bits have got to be crisp-otherwise it may as well be ham.....
The trouble with most bacon today is the water content. Dry cured is much tastier but unfortunately quite expensive.
That's right Mike, and why we stopped buying the watery stuff prepacked in the supermarket. Butcher's bacon for us from now on!
My dad buys some superb Gloucestershire Old Spot from the farmers market. The only way to eat that is crispy with brown sauce.
Agree with you there mike, I always buy Drycured as it is tasty and not full of that damned watery gunge
I've tried all types and I've just come to the conclusion that I don't like bacon no matter what quality it is. I don't like sausages either..
sausages!!! yukkk!!!
red sauce only, the only place for that disgusting brown stuff is the bin, molly's a freak
well done molly.
Without wishing to advertise there are only three brands of sauce I will tolerate: Heinz Tomato Ketchup, HP Sauce and Lea & Perrin's Worcestershire sauce.
Try Chefs brown sauce if you can get it. They only seem to stock it in one Irish shop here...
