Brian the meow meow has had another treatment of front line. It doesn't seem to be working very well. Does it make a difference that he's a long haired cat?

Im not sure i dont have any pets, just my younger siblings, nah jokes.
Have u tried the vet? They should tell u what the problem is.

I know what the problem is...he has fleas. I got his treatment from the vet...
ponjee, it's now 4.45am with you.. do you not need any sleep?
ummmm.. Colin is a long-haired cat and the Frontline doesn't seem to be so effective any more. do you part Brian's fur so it ends up on his skin?
Im a vampire. haha. nah jokes. Im not that tired, and i enjoy talking to you people.
You do have to make sure the frontline goes onto the skin.
I might be confused but can you not get a flea killer that can be injected?
Sorry to hear that Brian hsa fleas again . Sounds like he is getting re-infected from his bedding carpets , other soft furnishings and so on. Carry on with front
line on the skin, according to the instructions and get a flea spray for all the areas where he lies down .Take care tho , they can be very strong-- follow the instructions. Had this with one of my dogs -- fleas are persistent little bu88ers.Good luck
I would agree with Brenda, you need to treat the house AND the cat. Frontline spray is more effective than the spot on. You need something like Acclaim or Indorex for the house too.
RIP fleas is the stuff to use.

Yes I part his fur....I know about what else needs doing just wondered if front line wasn't as effective on long haired cats. He's not infested with them. We see the odd one now and then...and he's not scratching loads. He plays out with other cats so could keep getting them from them...
