A large pile of earthworms has appeared overnight on the grass of my campsite here in Cornwall. There must be at least 50 of them, and most but not all are dead. They are very pale and sickly looking, so I suspect that they have been vomited up by some animal, perhaps a fox or badger. Any suggestions ?

I think you've already guessed who left you a little present.

btw. worms make a very nutritious meal and can be fried in a wok. An ideal, convenient and cheap meal for campers.

Thanks Wildwood. Badger would be my best guess. As for your suggestion about a worm stir-fry, I think I will pass on that one !
