Such determination, 60 feet up a Scots Pine tree this morning- and although she is still very poorly, she has been moving round the nest. Dad is feeding the chicks, we all wish she would ask for a bit! The blog from the wardens is very beautiful this morning. I have to go to work, but here is the link for anyone who doesn't have it

Mrs c, you might be able to read the blog even if you can't see the live feed - everyone's so excited and many people are on the other side of the Atlantic!
Hopefully the grand old lady has turned the corner now she's had a drink and something to eat she's certainly a fighter
DrFilth just checked the early bird thread, liked the music you posted, I guess I've always been a folkie at heart
Boxtops, I've just read it and I now have a huge lump in my throat. Hubby is telling me not to read it, as he knows how upset I get. I wish someone could intervene and help.
Isn't she wonderful boxy - I didn't expect to see her again after this morning when I looked. I hope she is o.k. Off to bed now - will say my prayers for her - Let Os Prey
Sweet dreams and ttfn x
steff - you wouldn't have believed the apparent 'improvement' in the old lady. I saw her come back to the nest early this evening after she had been for a drink. She has appeared quite mobile - so much better than yesterday or early this morning and very alert. Fingers x'd she can maintain it.
lucky you, ttfn - I'd not long turned in when all this took place, having spent two very late nights prior, and seeing her stretch her wings and seem to test her strength, there seemed to be quite a lot of fight left in her.
Will be watching from early in to see how things are when the dawn comes - talk about emotional roller-coasters !!
morning doc - yes, I know, but the Lady has already been for a bathe and drink this morning and is perched beside the nest no doubt waiting for dad to arrive with the first fish !!!
The Team at swt are understandably cautious about what IT was and the final outcome but for the moment it all looked so much improved
