Apologies if someone has already done this thread tonight, but I thought Id start the "whats for tea tonight" thread!

For me, ribeye steak, mushrooms, onion rings and chunky chips, followed by jam roly poly and custard.
Possibly accompanied by a few glasses of wine!

All cooked by OH!!

King Prawn pasta with tomatoes and peppers - Tesco's best tonight and easy for me, OH is at the rugby so won't want feeding.
Salmon, new potatoes, sweetcorn, followed by cheese and bics, with a nice bottle of white.
Hi jb.

I've had two Corned Beef slices and a bag of Worcester Sauce French Fries from Morrison's. A Kit-Kat and the remains of a Mandarin Orange trifle.
I had roasted pork chops with apple sauce, mash, peas n corn!
We're having Oysters to start, then Tuna steaks (rare), balsamic roasted vegetables and sweet potato mash....

No Pud....but lot's of wine :-)

I'm just off to marinate the tuna steaks....
I'm going to get a take away.

And a bottle of Marlborough Hills Pinot Noir, which I've just uncor ... erm ...

... unscrewed !
I'll come to your house Judge please, that lot sounds right up my street. I had trifle on its own for my tea one night last week.
I'm going out for Tapas and Sangría/Vodka.
Yummy, HB ... I do enjoy a table of tapas.
What do you like, JJ? My mate Ximo does the best tapas ever !
a little soft pasta, as I have just had a tooth out. In fact at this rate it will be Milupa till I die.
I broke my ankle last week, so hubby's doing most of the cooking at the moment, as it's difficult for me to stand for long periods on one leg. He did us baked jacket potato with a lovely winey lamb ragu. Hubby had a freshly made tomato salad.
Patatas bravas (or is it Batatas?)

The little meatball things

Boccarinhos (sorry about these spellings) ??

The Spanish tortilla thing

Chorizo in hot oil

Prawns in chilli oil

Calamari

Anchovies

Spicy chicken wings

That sort of thing. God ... I really fancy tapas, now !!
Strictly speaking, it's patatas, but they are sometime called batatas.

Prawns in Chilli oil - Gambas al ajillo (one of my faves)

Anchovies - do you mean the little white Boquerones with the olives?

Boccanrinhos.... (I'm scratching my head here).

I love Chopitos Fritos (fried baby squids)

Albóndigas (meatballs in spicy tomato sauce).

Croquetas de bacalao (cod croquettes).

Tortilla is mandatory ;-)
My Indian take-away has just walked in!
I've always really wanted to have tapas in Spain but don't know how to order them (if that makes sense) with my limited Spanish
HB

Albondigas ... yes, that's it.

Not sure where "bocarinhos" came from !!

=0/
I've got my sister and her hubby, plus their eldest son and his girlfriend for dinner so...Indian Banquet...starters> .Onion bhaji's, lamb and peas and vegetable samosa's, vegetable pakoras, mint and yogurt sauce
Then Chicken bhuna, beef madras, lamb rogan josh, pork vindaloo, king prawn balti Bombay potatoes, dhal, pilau rice, naan or roti breads

Mango kulfi (ice cream) or zingy lemon cheesecake

all cooked by me - although not all today - did some yesterday
Prudie... if you go to the right places in Southern Spain, they'll give you a free tapas with every meal. Either that, or pick up a menu and point. :-)

Figatell (minced pork and pinenut patties) is trés delish !
-- answer removed --
Scrambled eggs and bacon, toast, coffee, and maybe some fried-bread also. An easy meal to cook when I get back from the bar:)
