There have recently been several questions in Q&P asking : "Which type of dog is so called because it pursues its quarry underground."

That got me thinking as to why nobody has bred a dog to hunt moles.
Surely chihuahuas are small enough as a starting point?

If someone could manage this, then it would certainly be a green-keepers prayer come true.

To hunt down mole tunnels it would have to be miniaturised to the size of a mouse. They themselves would then become a tasty snack for the household cat.
