Ive been looking into getting a pair of these for a while and been researching it. I went into a shop today and there was a tank for sale, it was small, 18x10x10 inches and the guy said it would house 2 musk turtles. Surely this is way too small? Or is it ok but preferably larger?
Thanks

the more exotics demanded the more are captured from the wild......just fill the tank with goldfish.
Hi, some info for you here....and as for tank size, always go for the biggest you can!

why would you want to keep a nocturnal pet that is known for having smelly glands? Have you checked out filtration? aquatic turtles who feed and poop in water need industrial strength filtration.
they're carnivors - will bite off fingers when mature.
I'm with Tambourine
''Due to their small size, 'one' adult can be kept in a minimum 24x18x12 inch glass tank, 'a pair' in a 36x18x12 inch, the bigger the better.''
