My neighbour has left the gas on when he's been drunk. This has happened twice in 10 months and each time the police have had to kick his door in to let the gas man in. He lives in a local housing authority house. I live next door so I'm worried about this. Is there action by law that the housing authority has to take?

call your housing association. perhaps they can change his cooker to an electric one rather than gas to prevent him doing it.

Is he trying to kill himself or something? surely even drunks know to ignite the gas if cooking
