humans,we're not ment to be house bound
How do you define 'domesticated'?According to Dr Hostein of Oslo, in a paper presented to a conference of OIE, the world animal health organisation, the "most recently domesticated animal" is the farmed fish.[Isn't google wonderful?]Unfortunately the paper doesn't say where this farming was first done. He's referring to salmon farming, a C20 phenomenon. However, in a sense, there has been aquaculture for food for a lot longer than that suggests. The Chinese have kept in carp in rice fields for hundreds, or thousands, of years. Fish farming of fish in salt water is recent, though
I dont think there will be a last domesticated animal. Ppl now have pigs/foxes/and even chickens as pets;)
