Good link Jules. Afraid I cannot read too much of it I find it too upsetting.

This link (same site) tells you what not to buy without too many pictures!:

well done Kita, you sound like me, I tend to skip the pictures too.
Thanks both of you, I for one won't be buying any of these products again.
Thanks very much for that information, no way will I ever buy those products again.
sorry to burst the bubble girls but just about any hair dye is tested on animals, you're already implicated! Looks like head in a bucket of cowsh1t from now on ladies! The wisdom of the Geezer is strong today!
My Sister in the USA told me about this product a while ago.
It gets a wide berth from me.
Thanks for the link though jules.
Sorry but I shall still be feeding my dogs on Eukanuba. These animal rights organisations do all they can to sensationalise stories and I would not want to feed my dogs on anything that had not been tested - would you?
I have been steering clear too. I hate needless animal cruelty.

I hate being bemused by Lankeela who is always very helpful with her posts about animal care, yet still endorses the Kennel Club and animal tested food...in this day and age.

Someone who likes animals yet refers to "these animal rights organizations" like the way others refer to "these do gooders". As if it is something to be ashamed of.

Plus Procter and Gamble have had a long standing poor reputation prior to the pet food testing. They own Clairol and many other animal testing subsidiiaries. It's just nice for pet owners to know who they are supporting as they buy their own animals food.
Would rather rats were used for testing to save peoples lives than just wasting the errant rat near ur house by poisoning.

We rear and care for animals we have allowed to be bred.....we have that control over their lives.....for the purpose of food/pets.

I dont agree carniverous pets should be fed dry-foods ie bran/oats/soya......its cruel to their digestive systems.
