Good morning each and every!! Lovely day here, except that the leccy company has decided to dig up our access road and Mr N had a dreadful job trying to drive out to work, and I'm planning on using the car this afternoon so am ready to do battle -Bring it on!! It's only a tiny lane and I am going out on foot in a mo and if they expect me to leap across a rather large ditch, well words fail me! Arm still blue and swollen but doesn't hurt unless I press it - I haven't a clue what that's all about!

....and now, the neighbours have decided to light a bonfire and can't see a thing for smoke. Had another one yesterday and have to keep all windows and doors closed as I cannot stand the smell on furniture etc. Impossible to put out washing. I wish the Town Hall would ban them or something - GRRR I HATE BONFIRES IN THE DAYTIME!! Right that is it, am definitely off for a scrap with someone <<ggggrrr goes off muttering to self!!!>>

Sis had her op at 10am and is doing well, is in a private room as nothing else was available, eating like there's no tomorrow, and seems to be enjoying herself immensely. But of course we still have to wait for lymph gland tests to come back but they were swollen so surgeon cut a lot out.

have had a day of minor inconvenience today. Our desk computer is in a smal study made by divivng a slice off the kitchen...its quite nice actauuly, the division is a run of cupboards with aworktop on and we chat as i cook. xcept this morning the carpet under the desk was all wet. :( First instinct was to blame a puppy but the wet was colourless and odourless (hands up who thought I was going to say tasteless as well yeuch!) anyway long story short, the water supply to th washing machine is leaking like parliament so the kitchen is piled all over the place atm while we get the floor dry...Oh well I guess fixing it will keep OH out of trouble tomorrow...Goodnight all and mind how you go.

Woofy I thought you were going to tell us your computer had wet itself, but I'm only mildly sober so... (I'll read that part again tomorrow ;-) Had some pizza and wine with a friend who's in town to attend a couple of lectures. One glass of red wine does the job for me, I'm such a weakling. We saw three rats. Or rather I saw one, my friend saw three, she's very sensitized to their moves as she once lived in a place where... where rats lived too...! The one I saw was thoroughly dead and lying on lit de parade on the pavement before our very feet so I couldn't very well not see it. We meet rats every time she's here! And some of them walk on four legs!

I'm glad to hear your sister is so ravenous, Neti, that has got to be a good sign, as Robi says. You must email Christian to her. I've watched several of the alternative cuts but the one you posted was one of the nicest, hadn't seen it before. Have y'all noticed that some of the AnswerBank ads intermittently appearing on this thread are blatantly churchly, took me a while to figure out why... the ads are always, I suspect, generated by words in the question title, so, in this case: Christian...!
