(Ignore my post below this one, it's the same clip but I forgot to ask:)

The footage and photos looks like the sixties. Does anyone remember the story of this reunion

But Shaney you posted that poem yesterday...
Neti I just wanted to add to what the others said about you being brave for Charlie. Its the last kind thing we can do for our pets (and I hope there will be someone to do it for me)
Things are settling again here. We decided to get the boys done as they were getting too rambunctious for public life. They went in yesterday and were home yesterday lunchtime instead of evening as the woke up quickly and howled to come home!
Anyway all is well and we now have to get through the next 7 days of healing.
The legal fun and games we were having with my Mum's estate are getting sorted so that's another stressor leaving our life. so gradually getting back the net time....lovely to be back. I even have time to read over the bits that I have missed so don't be surprised if I come back andcomment on stuff that happened weeks ago
HI All Was late for Tai Chi this a.m. cos of the snow and traffic . Amazing how an hour of snow stops the traffic moving. Any way later on the 3 of us (ex Sainsburys) went to dinner at the branch where we worked with all of our friends. The management were all dressed up as pantomime characters( about 10 of them) and waited on us with a 3 course meal with wine etc. then after there was mince pies chocs and coffee. When we'd all eaten they did a comic and slightly rude version of Blankety Blank with prizes for the winners. It was a laugh and good to see some of our old friends for a 'natter'.
Glad you liked my story of me fetching flowers from the roof of Woolies Kit. Heaven knows what Haiku means I'll google it in a bit then I'll understand!!
They were happy days.

Derby play tonight in a cup match so I'll be listening with fingers crossed as at the mo' they are playing rubbish.

Looking forward to the Grotto this Christmas, can't believe how long I've been in touch with you all.

Enjoy your night out Vin it sounds great and really festive. I love Christmas!

See yer later 'gater(s) xx

I love your poem shaney that's me today! A while ago I went upstairs to do something & realised the 'something to do' was actually downstairs about 6ft away from my original position.

I mailed the Post office yesterday with a couple of Q's which they acknowledged & said they'd get back to me.
Just had a reply, well an email box to be exact, but with no message in it. Must be lost in the post!....I couldn't stop laughing, don't you just love 'em?!

Just looked up Haiku Kit

On the roof the flowers bloom
looking up to the sky
welcoming the day.

Well that's my version anyway! Ha Ha!!

Where's the snow gone Robi Thought we were in for a good session.
I get Hey Jude wherever I go. I put it on my phone as a ringtone. I expect I'm not the first and I wont be the last to do that!!
Thanks Vin xx
I've still got some snow on the back Jude...it's gonna be like a bloomin skating rink when I go out there last thing with Chas...better be careful not to go a over t or I could be the blue one on the wet path!

what's that Vin? it looks like a square owl, hehe....
Be careful Robi we don't want any broken limbs for Christmas.
I'll borrow jno's slippers, they should be non-slip, :o)
All sounds good fun Jude .When I worked at Sainsburys many moons ago we used to dress up at Christmas and write songs which gently took the piddle out of the department managers . I once had to dress up as a butcher .This was in the days when they actually had a butchery in the shop. I had to wear a striped apron and a false moustache and we sang Old MacDonald ( substitute managers name and a rude version ) while the lady who was in charge of the canteen played the banjo and I banged a couple of saucepan lids on the down beat .Happy days .
its a radio init..! lol(:O)
Thanks all - Charlie is now in Heaven and I can't stop crying. I'll be back tomorrow. x
Oh Neti ....Have a good cry pet . I know how you feel .
I still grizzle over my old boy . I'll swear I see him flitting around here out of the corner of my eye. Every time I peel a carrot I expect him to to come and stand to attention . You did the kindest thing in the end .They give you such a lot of pleasure but sadly there comes that awful day . Take care xxxx
Just back from tai chi. Dear Neti... I think most of us are crying for Charlie (I'm none too sure about that wicked jno ha ha) tonight. But you know what; he's with Elsa and Christian now :' ), a lion among lions - born free. You did the right thing and you were very brave. Love you, Neti.
Morning all - Thank you very much for your support, silly really, over a cat, but he was such a character, have just buried him, I couldn't dig a hole, everywhere I started I found water pipes or rock, so Mr N has just done it and left me to do the actual burial which I preferred!!

Today is our 33rd wedding anniversary - lawd help us!! God knows how we've stayed together this long, but you just sort of mosey along and that's it. The "snow" disappeared within an hour yesterday but by 'eck, it's jolly frio again. Am being very slovenly and wearing pj's under my tracksuit at present, but obviously will change before I venture out into the world. No more whinging from me, thanks me old biddies. x
Congratulations netti..!
I was married to a dutch girl years ago,and I didnt know how to celebrate my 2nd year.So me mate asked me what I did for the first year.I said I took her to hawaii,he said why dont you do the same again.I said I dont have to,I left her there.he he..!(:O)

happy anniversary to Mrs and Mr Neti!
We were 34 years in August this year as I have said before, if we'd killed 'em we'd be out by now!
You are ********** right about moseying along...passion may not last but a good moseying partner is worth gold.

Not going to say anything else but Kit I thought your post was beautiful
morning all,
neti I'm so sorry that Charlie's left you, you're not being silly, he was your pet & you loved him & you'll miss him. I even get upset when I find a dead bird in the garden. I was heartbroken when I found my first 'tame' blackbird, he'd been coming to the windowsill for about 4 yrs. Now I have 6 of his bloomin' ancestors eating a ton of raisins a week!
Congratulations on your anniversary!! 33 years & you still hide your shopping, hahaha! Do you honestly think he doesn't know? Hope you have many more years together. xx :o)

<dials Vinny's dentist......"Yes, he really did say he doesn't want any anaesthetic today, thank you"....>

so it was you..you *******.(:O)
