My receptionist's chickens are fed on corn but they regularly grab a nice fat juicy earthworm if they can..... their eggs are amazing ! (I always thought that chickens were veggie lol)

Snakes are naturally inquisitive. The snake might have been trying to determine which came first (the chicken or the egg?) when it unfortunately fell victim to the chicken.
