I have heard that the best thing for Yucca plants is to cut them completely to the ground at the end of the season, is this true? Also, what is the best way to cover fig trees for the winter? Thanks Nick

Hi NC, Here's a site that should help you out with your yuccas. Never heard of cutting them to the ground. http://www.bennyskaktus.dk/Yucca_FAQ_UK.htm Not sure where you are for the figs. If you are in the UK, then most folks grow the Brown Turkey. If it's planted in the ground, you shouldn't need to do anything to it for winter. http://www.easyfruit.co.uk/figs/ Newt
