I went online and it said not to use cider chips. my hamster seems to be fine in them. But later on what should I look for because it said "irritation" so I know that I have to change it. And it seems to love (continuously) her wheel!

I have rats and they are a bit similar to hamsters and they cannot have cedar chips because the dust or whatever can effect there respiratory systems
