What does a storm fly look like?

Their proper name is Thrip, but usually called Thunder Flies ( I'm hoping this is what you mean!) because they appear during hot, sultry weather conditions in mid Summer. Here's a picture:

I believe they are called "thrips", Cetti. (As in, a thrips is very small)
