My gay hamster, dopey, and I were watching telly yesterday, he had hopped onto my right shoulder and was squeaking happily as I flicked through the channels.... and he started jumping up and down when Coronation Street came on...
I dont normally watch such boring shows so for his sake, I put it on and dozed off..... When I woke up, he had braided my hair and was now watching Emmerdale or some such crap on the telly, with a housewifey, wistful expression on his face ..... I didnt say anything at the time, but dopey's behavior has become more and more odd over the last few weeks (since he saw Bruce) and I'm getting worried about him.....
Should I take him to see a hamster therapist soonish? Or maybe talk to a vet about him? Please help as I'm quite concerned and he;s now hopped onto my left shoulder ansd started braiding a plait on the other side of my head .... :(

Id say you've got an exceptionally bright hammy there, because in order to watch Emmerdale after Corrie he'd have had to record it, and quite frankly any hammy that can operate a DVD deserves respect.
Perhaps you should send him to hamster hairdressing school? Might be that the braiding of your hair is his hint?
Think of the money you could save!!!
