Can any one recommend a good disenfectant for use in dog kennals I have been using jeyes fluid but this takes a lot of washing down and then I have to wait for kennals to be dry before I can put dogs out in them for a few hours thanks GypsyX

Wonderful stuff and smells nice too. Can orderonline or you can get it from any champ show.

I used to work for Jeyes and Monday was the day they made the Jeyes Fluid and the whole place stank of it.

Also it always reminds me of the first kennels I ever worked in, they used to cover the place with the stuff, and your jeans and shoes and socks were soaked in it.

Hi, girls. Virkon is very good - used by a lot of the animal rescue centres & is approved by DEFRA for all sorts of uses (including disinfecting against foot& mouth). It's not expensive - only about 1.80 for a sachet that dissolves in a gallon, or you can buy a bigger size. I use it for the chickens. You'll get it at your local farmers' co-op or feed merchant. I expect you'll be able to get it easily enough, Gypsy, living where you do.
