good walks near Manchester please

where can i go on good local walks - i live in manchester city centre and need to get out of the city more - went to dunham massey this weekend - lovely!

Im from north Manchester Bury try the Burrs country Park off Brandlesholme Road Bury

I live in Eccles and I visit Heaton Park a lot.
It's lovely and very big with loads of things to see and do and even more space if you just want to walk around.

I like going to Wythenshawe Park. Its got a golf course, a small farm for children, a play area, tennis courts & acres to walk around. I also live in Eccles!
