hi

i have a 4 mnth old kitten who has recently taken to licking his little prawn quite fervently. apart from being a bit euch, is this normal?

Cats are seriously fastidious creatures, and cleanlness is a vital part of daily life.

That said, he may have an infection which is causing him irritation and / or pain, so have him checked by your vet.
my daughter has a kitten the same age, she was complaining that at the minute it try's to sh*g everything, her slippers, her foot, the rabbit. I think there must be a surge of hormones going on.
I also agree with the other post, get the vet to check he hasn't got an infection.
