I have created something on Fireworks and have been asked to supply it to someone as a jpeg with a '300dpi resolution' and I don't know how to do this. Can anyone help? Much appreciated!

I'm not familiar with the Fireworks software but having a quick look at Fireworks MX 2004 I've found this.

Make sure you have the Properties Palette open on screen.
Click on the Image Size Button.
Change Resolution to 300 Pixels/Inch.
Resample Image using Bicubic.
Select JPEG - Better Quality from the drop down list.

Go to FILE > EXPORT.
Save As > Images Only.
Click EXPORT.

As I said before, I've never use Fireworks but I always resort to the File > Export method if I need to change a file format using various software packages. The Save As method doesn't always give you too many formats to choose from.

Hope this helps you in some way.
