I cannot find any info relating to the oldest Rottweiler, but the oldest dog on record lived to be 29 years old (human years), an Australian Cattle Dog called Bluey. Most of the German breeds have a average life expectancy of 9-11 years; but then that depends on any inherited breeding problems they may develop.
