car sickness ?

Any advice please my gsd age 9 this year has never had a problem traveling but lately after a journey shes sick I do not feed her before we set out , limit her water on long journeys but shes sick not long after we arrive where we are going Ive have waited an hour or so before giving her a drink or food after journey but still shes sick and ive tried the other way giving her a drink as soon as we arrive same problem today after a short outing she came home and was sick any advice will be welcome Gypsyx

I have heard, though never tried it, that sitting on a few folded newspapers (about 6 inches thick) really helps. Apparently it stops some of the motion which is what causes the sickness.
Have you recently changed your car?
Are you sure that exhaust gasses aren't leaking into the back where she is? (happened to a friend..blood test on dog showed carbon monoxide) Because she is only now showing signs of sickness I would take it seriously, there is something upsetting her

Thank you both for your replys , annalinda this is something I would not of thought of we have had car for over a year but will get it checked and my gsd I always drive with windows open and have another dog in car as well but she is ok GypsyX
