Mine used to take strands of lametta (sp?) off the Christmas tree and eat them, thing is he never quite ate all of it and have several silvery strands hanging out his gob. It got so bad that we had to remove the ones from the lower branches.

Oh and two years ago he ate 3 boxes of Thorntons that had been lovingly wrapped and put under the tree.
My Lurcher found someones Christmas Turkey on Christmas day whilst out running in a field behind some farm houses and brought it back to me, still intact and piping hot!!

hehe BOO, and the other end?..... with the stringy bits?....

lol RATTER15, what did you do with it?....was the farmer in hot pursuit?.....

My dog Toby used to eat the lamenta too, but he's grown out of that now thank god! His worst thing was eating stones, leaves, flowers or anything he could get his teeth round in the garden really! We got quite worried about the stone eating thing but thankfully they all came out the other end!
Mine loves tissue paper; he will open the bin for a piece of Bounty Roll, and then rips it to pieces. Toilet Roll is just out of reach. Hes worse than the cat.
My 2 bullmastiffs once ate most of the shed, we had been out for a few hours and returned to find the shed only had 1 full side and the door, they had eaten almost 3/4 of the way up the other sides and there wasnt a scrap to be found. I think they got bored when they found a bag of sand and decided to rip that open instead...this is just one of many things they got upto lucky they are starting to grow out of it!!

Now they're good dogs lol....
some funny stories.. I weighed my dog today, weighing in at 15.5 st im thinking he might eat me next...
My mum's hairdresser once left his dog alone in his flat above the shop and when he came back he'd eaten a bar of soap and a banana - he left the banana skin.
15.5 stone??? flippin heck lol. i had a cross dalmatian lab that was a bit blocked , after vets advice and some liquid parrafin produced a shipphams paste pot lid a crisp bag and 3 pound 50

I'm laughing out loud here!!! how d'ya spend the extra cash?......
My lab Fred would eat anything that would fit into his huge gob, the most memorable being an entire turkey carcass, hamster food from a neighbours hamster cage ( never touched the hamster) a wooden hat stand, a Tesco carrier bag which he passed whole on the local park, most embarrassing, 18 creme eggs, all in one go, drank a gallon of beetroot wine and a bucket of wallpaper paste. He never had an upset stomach and lived to the ripe old age of 17.
My female shih tzu ate a doggy poo bag that fell out of my friend's pocket the other day. Was worried it might cause a blockage, but 2 days later out came the pink bag - was almost tempted to give it a quick blast under the tap and give it back to my friend. All my doggy walking mates were joking that when my dog "went" it would come out ready bagged!
Shouldn't laugh - it could have been an expensive meal if there had been a blockage!
