why not go to your nearest animal/s or cats protection/l
I agree with garner. Don't buy a kitten there are so many in rescue centres. Try your local RSPCA or Cat Protection League. They also have lovely cats needing homes too.

Good luck :o)
They have some cool looking cat's at this west Lothian branch-

Wholeheartedly agree with the others please visit some of the many rescue centres which are around - there are so many lovely cats who need good homes (and they often have kittens as well if you definitely want a kitten).

Having said that - please think very carefully about getting a new cat at this time of year - most good rescue centres refuse to rehome any animal at Christmas because it is the worst possible time to have a new (and scared) animal in the house when there are loads of people around, children are excited etc. Please wait until after Christmas when everything has calmed down so the cat can settle in slowly in a calm and relaxed atmosphere - it really is very important.

Good luck and merry christmas.
Thanks really excellent advice from annavc!

I remember when we had our cat from the Cat Protection League. There was only myself and my husband in the house but she was still really scared and hid behind the sofa for ages.

Lots of people of the holiday period would probably freak out a new cat or kitten and the doors constantl opening and closing would'nt be very secure for keeping them in at first either.

Be better to wait to new year and give you something to look forward to as well.

xx :o)
