Why do you never see baby pigeons?

You do...it's just that when the leave the nest they are more or less adult size.....so you'd have to be a bit of an expert to notice them!

Spot a baby by looking at the beak - relatively big compared to the rest of the body
Pigeons are devoted parents. So good that both will feed their squabs a delicious concoction known as 'pigeon milk'. A sort of equivalent to what was our Farex or rusk in warm milk!

They eat like this for about 10 or so days making the babies grow fast and very fat, sometimes larger than their parents. Watch a pigeon drink. They are the only bird that can 'suck' the water up in mouthfuls rather than peck, as other birds do.

Did you know that pigeons also use the London Undergound to get around?
