I expect you would be able to claim for damages.
umm - the first sentence had me cackling with laughter. As a youngster I would drag any big dog home with the 'it followed me home' routine. Looking back it must have taken some work for a four year old girl to drag a german shepherd home. Always had a thing about "big hairy Germans".

Good luck with your sheep dilemma. Know any butchers?
Get an ASBO against the farmer I saw a prog on TV the other night and some people got one against a farmer who let his pigs roam
citizens advise if you can get to one,or try posting this on the law site.do you like lamb and do you have a big freezer, cause think about it would he know if you took one, could he prove it,how would he know.you could hire a van load them in and drive them miles away to another field full of sheep let them go,then he'd have to go pick them up,thats if the other farmer knew they was'nt his,yeh do it .
Declare your property to be a PINFOLD and charge the owners of the sheep a fee for releasing them.
