Lorry & van biting dog!

Whenever my dog see's a Lorry or a van he trys to bite it ,why is this?

No idea, mine used to chase bikes, be it push or motor, couldn't catch either!!!
Our old doberman Duke used to attack double deckers and anything with headlights on at night.
Because the van comes along, your dog barks & the van goes away...leaving him with the belief that he 'saw it off'. It's quite a common problem that dogs can get into., but one that you need to address because it's obviously pretty dangerous if he got off the lead on a road.
