my cat is due to give birth soon, yesterday she was very unsettled and looking for a dark little nesting spot so i knew the time was near, today she has started to cry for me when i leave the room and become very needy but... reading up on lobor thay say her temp will drop but my cats temp is high she is panting and moaning but she has been like this for 12hours and still no signs of kittens this is her first little not sure what to do..........please help!

i would give your vet a quick ring and ask his advice
Sounds like you need to see your vet to have her examined. Panting is not good with cats. You don't want a malpositioned kitten to block the birth canal.

thanx for your advice the vet said she was in the early stages of labor and just to keep an eye on her and sure enough she had three black n white kittens at 3 am this morning im so happy mum n babies doing fine x
