Horse Sales

Watton Horse Sale in Norfolk was held last Sunday. Does anyone know where the 'travellers' move on to i.e is there a Horse Sale or Fair in your area soon?

the first Stow-on-the-wold is next then I think it's Epsom. I'll be going to Stow so is there anything you need or are you just curious?

Sadly, two cocker spaniels (one very elderly) were stolen from the vicinity on Monday, and the website www.doglost.co.uk has a network of helpers who will download and distribute posters with the details in any area where the stolen dogs may be. It is believed they were taken by travellers, and as the Horse Sale was on Sunday it is possible they are being moved to another area. Now before any of you accuse me of tarring them all with the same brush, this has become a common occurence and any avenues will be explored to get these dogs back. This is what happened to the two Yorkshire Terriers belonging to Bruce Forsyth's daughter, and they were recovered after being sold at Southall Horse Sale. Any publicity helps but people need to be aware that this is becoming more of a problem. Thank you for your reply, it will give the helpers a clue as to where to contact people.

Lankeela, try Appleby coming up in June, biggest horse fair in the country. I'll have an ask about Henley ( in Arden) which is first Saturday of every month and lots of dogs underhandedly sold there and put myself in the market for some spaniels and see if anything comes of it.I'll have a mooch at any horse fairs I go to as well for you.
