Mummy and Dady rats-

I have kept rats in the past before, either singularly and in pairs... but never a male and female together. As I dont want them to breed, but would like them to share the cage... can male rats be castrated? I know rabbits and guinea pigs can, but with a rat being so small I wasnt sure? Thanks

yes they can but its fiddly and not all vets will be willing to do it.
