My 4 year old dwarf loop rabbit is refusing his food. This has been going on for about 3 weeks, I have taken him to the vet and he has been given, antibotics and small dose of steriod, vitamins and been re hydrated. He is baffling everyone, he is a house rabbit and lives with 3 cats (gets on with them) I have tried everything to get him to eat, he eats alittle and then not interested, his teeth have been checked and his ears they were ok. He is bright eyed and his coat is good and he wonders about, but he lies flat out alot. I have tried to feed him baby food by syringe (not easy)

Other than suggesting you see a new vet, I have no idea what may be wrong with your bun. But any more than a day or two without eating is considered a medical emergency in rabbits. Try posting on the following listserve - there are loads of vets and really helpful people on it, and they may have ideas:

Good luck!
